Choose one activity from the below options to do each day to gain practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Do a different activity each day for 30 minutes.

READING

​GRADES K-2:
  • Raz-Kids - For elementary students, listen to a book read to you, then read the book and answer the questions. (www.raz-kids.com)
  • International Children's Library - Access a digital library of children's books from around the world.  (en.childrenslibrary.org)
  • Unite for Literacy - Listen to books read aloud and follow along. (www.uniteforliteracy.com)​

GRADES 3-12:
  • NewsELA - Choose an article to read and answer the comprehension questions. (www.newsela.com)
  • Common Lit - Read a passage and answer the questions. (www.commonlit.org)
  • Read Theory - Take the assessment and then read a passage and answer the comprehension questions. (www.readtheory.org)
  • Khan Academy - Gain extra instruction in any subject (www.khanacademy.org)

  • Daily Journal - We are in a historical time right now and keeping an account of what we are experiencing is important. Answer a question for each day.   • Virtual Reality - Watch video documentaries which share about the lives of people across the world. Discuss what you saw with someone. (www.with.in)
