To start my summer, I graduated with my master's degree from The University of Akron. Shortly after graduating, I went on road-trips throughout the United States and I even went to Canada! This past summer, I went to Chicago, Illinois; Asheville, North Carolina; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Buffalo, New York; and Niagara Falls, Canada.

What I'll miss the most from my summer is spending time with my family and friends, and especially my nieces. The most exciting part of my summer was that my second niece, Nora Elizabeth, was born! Her big sister, Mila Rose, also turned two years old this summer.

As much as I'll miss summertime, I'm excited to be back in the routine of work! I look forward to working with my students and helping them succeed. My goal for this year is to help my students improve their OTELA scores from the last school year. I hope that I meet my goals this year!
