Our 5th Annual Cultural Festival went great! Stories of the "American Dream" were shared along with food and activities to celebrate and learn about cultural diversity at Barberton City Schools.

Our speakers shared their experiences growing up between two cultures, how Barberton Schools helped them, and what the American Dream means to them. They did a fantastic job and showed the impact that our teachers and staff make to help provide learning opportunities for them to succeed.

Click on each name to access the video of their speech:
  • Noor Hindi  - Featured Speaker, Senior Writer for the Devil Strip newspaper, attended Oakdale KG - 7th grade
  • Cassie Maldonado - Student Speaker, 11th Grade, "Growing Up Mexican-American"
