Dear Students and Families, This is a very surreal time in history as we live through the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Within a week things have been changing so drastically. Everyone’s lives turned upside down. Tears when I think about our children without school, people without work or childcare, small businesses that are forced to shut down, and our overwhelmed leaders and health care providers who are risking their lives for us. Fear for what might come in the next hours, days, weeks, and even possibly months. Yet also hopes of a healthier and better time when we can go back to our lives. We should be very grateful to be in a state and school system where everything is being done for our safety and to curb this pandemic. Our teachers are still working and will always be there for our students. Although digital learning isn’t as fruitful as real classrooms, we have been on top of adapting to the rapid changes and equipped our students with what they need to continue learning from home. Everyone is doing their best to get through this very difficult and historical time that I hope will soon pass. My prayers for the vulnerable, the children, and those in need. I hope you and your and families will all be in good health and we can get back to normal and better lives. Please be sure to check for updates via email or ClassDojo and contact me Monday-Friday 9:00AM-1:00PM if you have questions about school work. I hope to see you all soon after we recover from this difficult time. Take care, Miss Nemer
